DONE
I just finished submitting my http://www.how-to-catch-fish.com/ sitemap XML files to Google, Yahoo, Live Search and Ask search engines.
This is a simple task when using Site Build It!. Site Build It! is to web site building like paint by numbers is to painting. I just follow the step by step directions. You can check out Site Build It! by clicking on the jumping clock.
I just used WorldSubmitter through Priority Build It!, to adjust the sitemap XML file to tell the Search Engines which pages are the most important.
This is an important task because the sooner the Search Engines know about my site the sooner they come and Spider it.
Tomorrow is the day. I have a Red Snapper charter and hopefully we can catch’em up.

Hi capt’n,
I’ve had a couple of SiteBuildIt sites and they’re a great way to train as a webmaster. SBI limits what you may do to what is sensible.
It’s great for niche blogs, although perhaps a little expensive unless you’ve found a really good niche.
Fishing IS a good niche so you’re really lucky having that as an interest :~)
As it’s a while since you posted here I’m wondering if SiteBuildIt has taken over for you where Alex Jeffreys left off?
Hope all’s well,
Stephen
Stephen,
Thanks for your comments.
Let me share with you where I am coming from. Maybe this will help others with the same dilemma.
I am a 66 year old charter boat captain with a lot of fishing knowledge and a great passion for fishing. In a previous life I was a trouble shooter for a very large telecommunications company. I love to solve problems.
Being a total newbie to Internet Web pages, I first started with SiteBuildIt because
(1.) I felt I needed to know how to build a web site if I was to do marketing on the Internet with little money.
(2.) I have a web site http://www.geauxdeep.com advertising my charter service. My Webmaster became very ill and I felt I needed to as least learn enough to be able to post updates to the site.
Lately I have been learning FrontPage.
You are again correct – SiteBuildIt is a great way to train as a Webmaster.
I started with the block build it approach and published my home page and three 2nd tier pages. Then I used Komposer to publish the next three pages.
This was my introduction to HTML and FTP.
Bottom line, SiteBuildIt and Alex Jeffreys are two different approaches.
If you want to learn to build a great web site, SiteBuildIt is the best.
If you want to build a great Internet business, Alex Jeffreys and Mike Filsaime are the best.
If you are going to bootstrap a long term Internet business with very little money then I’ll tell you my story when I am finished with Butterfly Marketing.

Captain Hall
